If you specify a subnet like 192.168.0.0/16 then any IP address that starts with 192.168 will be banned, whereas 192.168.67.0/24 would ban anything that starts with 192.168.67. banadd Adds an IP address, or subnet address, and a reason for the banning to the ban list and ban file.
